Redundancy law is very complicated but there are some simple, general rules.
If your employer wants to make you redundant they have got to show two main things:The employer has to show both of these things, otherwise your selection for redundancy may be unfair. If so, we can claim compensation for you.
If more than 19 redundancies are to be made then the employer also has to go through some extra consultations which can be complicated and which are sometimes dealt with wrongly.
